Happy Birthday, Jackson!

On the 15th, Sylvie attended her first official birthday party. Her buddy Jackson is now one year old. I can scarcely believe that, since I remember being very pregnant and reading his newborn baby blog posts like it was yesterday! In fact, February is the month for birthdays for many of Sylvie’s friends: Jackson, Noah, Frankie, and Siva. I guess that means we’re not too far behind!

We had a great time at Jackson’s party. His mom, Amanda, went all out with streamers, balloons, and an adorable clothesline display of his infinitesimal newborn outfits. We got to participate in a “Sing and Sign” with a wonderful woman named Jill, and Sylvie had a blast singing and dancing along to her. She also had a great time making new friends and playing with the other babies and watching Jackson devour his first cupcake.
