Finally playing catch up: Introducing Sylvia Grace!

Sylvia Grace (Sylvie) was born on May 29th at 6:47 PM after 24 hours of drug- and intervention-free labor. She had a blonde mohawk, weighed 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces and was 20.25 inches long. Her first half-hour of life was spent on her mother’s chest under a heated blanket, quietly gazing into the eyes of her parents. Her father cut the cord. I will write a detailed birth story at some point, but for now I’ll say simply that it was the most intense, vivid, and humbing experience of my life. Welcome to the world, sweet baby girl!
